Righteous And Awesome!

Today’s Feast

Exodus 3

March 19, 2015 – Exodus 7

Righteous And Awesome!

8 I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?”Numbers 12:8, New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 7; “Moses and Aaron encouraged. (1-7) The rods turned into serpents, Pharaoh’s heart is hardened. (8-13) The river is turned into blood, The distress of the Egyptians. (14-25)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we see that The Egyptian rulers just became harder against God’s chosen peoplet; “2 You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land. 3 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.Exodus 7:2-3 NKJV The Many people are complaining, they expect God to be as they would make our maker saying; “If their God is so good why does he allow them to suffer so?” But you and I will say; 16 But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.Psalm 59:16 NKJV. Our God is The Creator, righteous and awesome!

Our Heart Condition?

Today’s Feast

Exodus 3

March 18, 2015 – Exodus 6

Our Heart Condition?

17 And I set my heart to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is grasping for the wind.Ecclesiastes 1:17, New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 6; “God renews his promise. (1-9) Moses and Aaron again sent to Pharaoh. (10-13) The parentage of Moses and Aaron. (14-30) “ – Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we see that God did not give up on his chosen people, because he is faithful and true. ”6 Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment.” Exodus 6:6 NKJV. Sometimes people ( Psalm 14:1) would rather depend on themselves than God. Thats the condition of ( Ezekiel 36:26) their heart.

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 5; “Pharaoh’s displeasure, He increases the tasks of the Israelites. (1-9) The sufferings of the Israelites, Moses’ complaint to God. (10-23)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we we see Moses receiving grief from his own people, they believed the Pharaoh. Instead of going to God in prayer asking for instruction and direction, we see Moses railing at God. “22 So Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Lord, why have You brought trouble on this people? Why is it You have sent me? 23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done evil to this people; neither have You delivered Your people at all.”Exodus 5:22-23, NKJV. Next time some one asks “If God loves us why does He ______?” Remind them Jesus doesn’t give us grief. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.John 10:10 NKJV. Jesus does more for us (Acts 2:28) than delivering us from evil.

Where God Leads, God Provides!

Today’s Feast

Exodus 3

March 16, 2015 – Exodus 4

Where God Leads, God Provides!

6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” Jeremiah 1:6, New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 4; “God gives Moses power to work miracles. (1-9) Moses is loth to be sent, Aaron is to assist him. (10-17) Moses leaves Midian, God’s message to Pharaoh. (18-23) God’s displeasure against Moses, Aaron meets him, The people believe them. (24-31)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we witness God giving Moses power to lead his chosen people out of Egypt. here in Exodus 4,we see Moses receiving his assignment from God. He doesn’t seem to realize that God wouldn’t give him a burden to heavy for him to bear. “10 Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”Exodus 4:10, NKJV. In regards to this, I believe that God’s assignments come complete with the means to finish them. God will provide a way; ”28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Matthew 11:28 NKJV. Jesus gives us rest not burdens that are to heavy for us. This Feast with the Lord is an important part of our relationship with Jesus; “9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV. Our God never will never give us an assignment without providing the means to to complete it!

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 3; “God appears to Moses in a burning bush. (1-6) God sends Moses to deliver Israel. (7-10) The name Jehovah. (11-15) The deliverance of the Israelites promised. (16-22)Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we witness God calling on Moses to lead his chosen people out of Egypt. here in Exodus 3. “15 Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’Exodus 3:15, NKJV. In regards to that I believe that God’s word is never wrong or void; ”11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.Isaiah 55:11 NKJV. I may make a mistake but God never will, that’s why we all need to read (Matthew 4:4) God’s Holy Word for ourselves. This Feast with the Lord is an important part of our relationship with Jesus; “17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.Romans 10:17 NKJV.

Who’s Kids Are These?

25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them. Exodus 2:25, New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 2; “Moses is born, and exposed on the river. (1-4) He is found, and brought up by Pharaoh’s daughter. (5-10) Moses slays an Egyptian, and flees to Midian. (11-15) Moses marries the daughter of Jethro. (16-22) God hears the Israelites. (23-25)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

In this chapter we witness God calling on Moses to lead his chosen people out of Egypt. As I was reading this scripture it struck a chord; “5 Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it. 6 And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.” Exodus 2:15, NKJV When I was a boy (a few yrs ago) we used to sing this song about Abraham, in Sunday school; “Father Abraham had many children many children had father Abraham and I am one of them and so are you…” We are the children promised to Abraham by God; 5 No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.Genesis 17:5 NKJV. We are the children of those many nations. Just as God hears the Israelites he hears us. “5 For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.Psalm 86:5 ESV.

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 1;

The Book of Exodus relates the forming of the children of Israel into a church and a nation. We have hitherto seen true religion shown in domestic life, now, we begin to trace its effects upon the concerns of kingdoms and nations. Exodus signifies “the departure;” the chief event therein recorded is the departure of Israel from Egypt and Egyptian bondage; it plainly points out the fulfilling of several promises and prophecies to Abraham respecting his seed, and shadows forth the state of the church, in the wilderness of this world, until her arrival at the heavenly Canaan, an eternal rest.

The children of Israel increase in Egypt after the death of Joseph. (8-14) They are oppressed, but multiply exceedingly. (1-7) The men-children destroyed. (15-22)Matthew Henry Concise.

In this chapter we see that no matter how bad other people treat God’s people, everything will work to prosper God’s chosen ones; “12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel. 13 So the Egyptians made the children of Israel serve with rigor. 14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage–in mortar, in brick, and in all manner of service in the field. All their service in which they made them serve was with rigor.Exodus 1:12-14 NKJV. Keep your eyes and heart on Jesus (Romans 8:28) no matter how bad the present circumstances seem; you will prosper.

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Matthew Chapter 28: “Christ’s resurrection. (1-8) He appears to the women. (9,10) Confession of the soldiers. (11-15) Christ’s commission to his disciples. (16-20)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

In this chapter we see that Jesus has risen from the grave, (Matthew 28:6) overcoming death and sin. And in the last paragraph He gives the disciples “The Great Commission that applies to all Saints to this very day; “18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV. That is the reason that we (1 Peter 3:15) share the gospel at every opportunity.

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Matthew Chapter 27: “Christ delivered to Pilate, The despair of Judas. (1-10) Christ before Pilate. (11-25) Barabbas loosed, Christ mocked. (26-30) Christ led to be crucified. (31-34) He is crucified. (35-44) The death of Christ. (45-50) Events at the crucifixion. (51-56) The burial of Christ. (57-61) The sepulchre secured. (62-66)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

In this Scripture is we see Jesus being crucified fulfilling prophesy, Jesus died on that cross. The next day Pilate ordered a guard be put on Jesus tomb;64 Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first.” 65 Pilate said to them, “You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how.” 66 So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard.Matthew 27:64-66 NKJV. If the death of Jesus ended here our faith would be for nothing! Jesus promised to be with us until God’s kingdom comes to the end of age. We stand against the same Satan that would of ended the story with Matthew 27; For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firmEphesians 6:12-13 NKJV. And so we continue to stand firm!
