The Best of the Feast
Dec. 29, 2016 – Psalm 105
Tell About His Wonderful Works!
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 105. The Psalmist is reminding the people of God’s joy and love. He’s reminding God’s people of what God has done for them. He encourages the to keep praising God. “43 He brought out His people with joy,
His chosen ones with gladness.
44 He gave them the lands of the Gentiles,
And they inherited the labor of the nations,
45 That they might observe His statutes
And keep His laws.” Psalm 105:43-45 – New King James Version (NKJV). Sometimes when we are with people who are unhappy, when they begin to grumble we get caught up and begin to join them in the complaints. It is at the point when the complaints start we need to remind them of what Jesus has done for them (See Psalm 23:16). Remind them that though we may be unhappy with whatever it is that is bothering us, that they cannot steel our Joy. Because happiness depends on happenstance while our Joy is in Jesus. “15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men— 16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bond servants of God.” 1 Peter 2:15-16 NKJV. In every situation, we can depend on Jesus and have strength in our faith (see 1 Peter 1:3-5). Jesus will not let us down. We are not to be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is our strength (see Nehemiah 8:10). Trust in the Lord Jesus our joy and strength. Amen! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; “[ The Way, the Truth, and the Life ] “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3, NKJV.
God, Bless You,
