[The Righteous Shall Live by Faith] For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”Romans 1:16, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 20; “The priests and scribes question Christ’s authority. (1-8) The parable of the vineyard and husbandmen. (9-19) Of giving tribute. (20-26) Concerning the resurrection. (27-38) The scribes silenced. (39-47)Matthew Henry Concise.

This is a particularly interesting Feast because, we see some interesting comparison’s between heaven and earth. For instance the comparison of women on earth and then in heaven. I really think that the comparison to rendering that which is due to God or Cesar is important. “22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or not?” 23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, 24 “Show me a denarius. Whose likeness and inscription does it have?” They said, “Caesar’s.” 25 He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”Luke 20:22-25, E SV. We live in a Democracy here in the United States. Some Christians think that it is OK to say mean and untrue things about our elected officials. Saint’s let’s remember that there is no authority appointed over us except that which is appointed by God. “1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, Romans 13:1-3 ESV. With this in mind you would tell why another candidate is better than the incumbent in an election. We need to pray for those who are appointed over us. 10 “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.Isaiah 41:10 ESV. Our country could have greatness and Christian leadership back once again; “14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.2 Chronicles 7:14, ESV. We should probably keep praying, doing and speaking good and keep first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.

I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Join the Saint’s marching in the image of God? You are an eternal being; Where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with Jesus! If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. Amen!“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 19; “The conversion of Zaccheus. (1-10) The parable of the nobleman and his servants. (19:11-27) Christ enters Jerusalem. (28-40) Christ laments over Jerusalem. (41-48)Matthew Henry Concise.

We have a prayer list on the inter-net for anyone who has a request. If you have ever joined us for prayer you know we begin with praise then move on to prayer. The reason that we do that is because God’s Word tells us to. “36 And as he rode along, they spread their cloaks on the road. 37 As he was drawing near—already on the way down the Mount of Olives— the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, 38 saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! 39 And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” 40 He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.Luke 19:36-40, ESV. We never want to be silent especially when we are approaching God with requests. We don’t want the stones to do what should be doing! “3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:3-5, ESV. Our God is awesome and worthy of praise. We thankfully praise Him for our salvation, His love, and all He has done for us. “3 my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior– from violent men you save me. 4 I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.2 Samuel 22:3-4, ESV. Let’s go forward together, keeping the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 18; The parable of the importunate widow. (1-8) The Pharisee and the publican. (9-14) Children brought to Christ. (15-17) The ruler hindered by his riches. (18-30) Christ foreshows his death. (31-34) A blind man restored to sight.(35-43)Matthew Henry Concise.

When we attempt to lead someone to our Lord, should we require that they approach God under our conditions? Do we tell them, “exactly” what God expects of them? Maybe we should just tell them that, if they want better life accept Jesus, into their heart? “15 Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 17 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”Luke 18:15-17, ESV. Did Jesus require more from us than our faith in him? “7 And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?””Luke 18:7-8, ESV. Will Jesus find “faith on earth”? Keep in mind that our faith comes from hearing the Word of God. We remain thankful for our salvation, His love, and all He has done for us. “[The Righteous Shall Live by Faith] 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.Romans 1:16, ESV. Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 17; “To avoid offences, To pray for increase of faith, Humility taught.11-19. Ten lepers cleansed.(1-10) Christ’s kingdom. (20-37)Matthew Henry Concise.

I’ve said many times that Jesus has a mission for every person saved. If you’re not sure what your personal mission is pray and ask our father to reveal it to you. In the meantime saints in Chapter 17 of Luke, Jesus tells us how we need to act in relation to our sisters and brothers; “1 And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. 3 Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, 4 and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”Luke 17:1-4, ESV. If you have been saved then, you are a soldier engaged in God’s mission. God doesn’t commission undercover saints. It is important for all of us to understand that we are at war; “11 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.Ephesians 6:11-13 ESV. That being said it is good that this Feast is an important to in your armory. The Feast also fills another need (Romans 10:17) in that reading from God’s Word our faith is increased. “9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.Colossians 2:9-10, ESV. Continue on, keeping the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 15; “The parable of the unjust steward. (1-12) Christ reproves the hypocrisy of the covetous Pharisees. (13-18) The rich man and Lazarus. (19-31)Matthew Henry Concise.

I have a question for you saints. I was on a trip with a friend; when he asked me to pray for another friend who was deceased? I told him if the person did not get his affairs and relationship with Jesus in order before he passed it was too late to pray for him now. Please read the following quote from Luke 16, then tell me, was I correct? “19 “There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. 20 And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, 21 who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried, 23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. 24 And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.’ 27 And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father’s house— 28 for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”Luke 16:19-31, English Standard Version (ESV). I look forward to hearing your answers. My friend also asked me; ”What if he didn’t hear of Jesus in his life time?” I said that wasn’t possible because he knew you. Didn’t you tell him about God’s gift of His only begotten Son? “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.John 3-16, ESV. I have one more question; I once knew a man who didn’t know Jesus. We played chess on a Friday afternoon and that was when I should have told him. I had every intention of telling him about God’s love on Monday. When I inquired about him on the next Monday afternoon. He died over the weekend. Please let me know if it isn’t too late now? “Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Philippians 2:9-11, ESV. Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 15; “Parables of the lost sheep, and the piece of silver. (1-10) The prodigal son, his wickedness and distress. (11-16) His repentance and pardon. (17-24) The elder brother offended. (25-32)Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we read about the prodigal son. He squandered his inheritance and returned home a broken man. His father receives him like a Shepard does a lost sheep; “ 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ 7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. Luke 13:28-30, ESV. The brother who never left or squandered any of his fathers fortune is not happy to see him; “ 28 But he was angry and refused to go in. His father came out and entreated him, 29 but he answered his father, ‘Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed your command, yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!Luke 15:28-30, ESV. Because of his jealousy he doesn’t see that he has always been blessed; 30 But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!’ 31 And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. 32 It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’”Luke 15:30-32, ESV. This is why we need to turn to Jesus praising God everyday for all that he does give us; “4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!Psalm 100:4, ESV. Once we are truly happy with what God does for us we will be able to be truly happy for others. We need to be like the apostle Paul; “10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.”, ESV. This is the way to be content and truly happy for others. Then we can keep the first thing first, which is salvation in Jesus name.

I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Join the Saint’s marching in the image of God? You are an eternal being; Where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with Jesus! If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mike@admenu.com. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything see; admenu.com/calling.html

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 14; “Christ heals a man on the sabbath. (1-6) He teaches humility. (7-14) Parable of the great supper. (15-24) The necessity of consideration and self-denial. (25-35)Matthew Henry Concise.

Jesus sees us and how we act, not only at the church gathering on Sunday but also in every area of our life;7 Now he told a parable to those who were invited, when he noticed how they chose the places of honor, saying to them, 8 “When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in a place of honor, lest someone more distinguished than you be invited by him, 9 and he who invited you both will come and say to you, ‘Give your place to this person,’ and then you will begin with shame to take the lowest place. 10 But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when your host comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at table with you. 11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” Luke 13:28-30, ESV. It’s the humble Saint who will inherent the kingdom of God;3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Matthew 5:3, ESV. Remember we are saved by faith, we can’t earn salvation; 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.Ephesians 2:8-9, ESV. This is why we should keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.

I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
