Blessed New Year 2012

Dec 30,11 – Jan1,12 – Genesis 48-50

Dear Saints,

For our new years weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast inGenesis 48 Through Genesis 50. In this Scripture we see How the faith in God worked for Israel and his fore fathers, as well as his sons. This being our New Year 2012 Feast I will explore our reason for the Feast. We read every word in God’s Word about every 3 years. Where does our faith come from? ”So faithcomes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.Romans 10:17 English Standard Version (ESV). So faith comes from the Word (Jesus) of God. Why do we keep reading it over and over again? That’s like asking; “Why do we eat everyday?” Jesus said; But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by breadalone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 ESV. What is our Goal? Not to replace your home church, nor to promote religion. Our goal is to obey Jesus and promote relationship with him sharing in his salvation. “18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.Matthew 28:18-20 ESV. So as we move forward in our seventh year of the Feast, let’s keep the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, God’s riches at Christs Expense (GRACE). Freely given by God and received from Jesus. Shared by strength in the Holy Ghost. I sincerely thank you the Saints, for sharing the Feast and praying with us. http://www.admenu.com/cc5/index.php?cID=80#

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.John 16:33 ESV I’m looking forward to your input. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com.If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again Monday.

The Feast Genesis 47

The Feast Daily Edition

image

Dec 29, 2011 – Genesis 47

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 47. In this Scripture we see Israel (Jacob) & all of Egypt dealing in faith with Joseph. Why did they have faith in a man? Joseph was true to God concerning everything in his life. If you say you love the Lord and have made him Lord of your life, then all the eyes of those around you will watch to see how you live. ”23 Then Joseph said to the people, “Behold, I have this day bought you and your land for Pharaoh. Now here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land. 24 And at the harvests you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh, and four fifths shall be your own, as seed for the field and as food for yourselves and your households, and as food for your little ones., 25 And they said, “You have saved our lives;may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh.,’” Genesis 47:23-25 English Standard Version (ESV). We see Joseph doing just what God tells him to do. Now that brings me to issue number one “Salvation”! If you are obedient to God you will see the Light grow brighter again in your life. Then your very life will be a witness for Jesus.

[I Am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life] “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.John 14:1-3 ESV I’m looking forward to your input. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com.If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com or if you want a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.

The Feast – Genesis 46

Dec 28, 2011 – Genesis 46

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 46. In this Scripture we see Israel (Jacob) dealing with God concerning the journey to Egypt. ” 3 Then he said, “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation. 4 I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph’s hand shall close your eyes.’” Genesis 46:3-4 English Standard Version (ESV). We see Israel doing just what God tells him to do. Now that brings me to issue number one “Salvation”! Remember God sent Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners. So confess your sin and ask God forgiveness. If you are obedient to God you will see the Light grow brighter again in your life.

Dec 27, 2011 – Genesis 45

The Feast Daily Edition

Dec 27, 2011 – Genesis 45

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 45. In this Scripture we see Joseph dealing with the brothers that sold him into slavery. He talked to his brothers through an interpreter so their was no reason for his brothers to recognize him. Joseph falsely represented himself to his brothers. Finally he could keep up the lie no more. He told his brothers the truth hoe God had blessed him. When he confessed the truth to his brothers, God blessed him again; ” 16 When the report was heard in Pharaoh’s house, “Joseph’s brothers have come,” it pleased Pharaoh and his servants.17 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘Say to your brothers, “Do this: load your beasts and go back to the land of Canaan, 18and take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat the fat of the land.” 19 And you, Joseph, are commanded to say, ‘Do this: take wagons from the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives, and bring your father, and come. 20 Have no concern for your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.’” Genesis 44:1 English Standard Version (ESV). So we see Joseph stopped lying and sinning against his father and God, he was so richly blessed again. The next time you feel not so close to God examine yourself and see if you have moved away from the Light! Remember God sent Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners. So confess your sin and ask God forgiveness. You may see the Light grow brighter again in your life.

[Bless the LORD, O My Soul] Of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,” Psalm 103:1-2 ESV I’m looking forward to your input. FEAST IN GENESIS 44

The Feast Daily Edition

Dec 26, 2011 – Genesis 44

Dear Saints,

I hope you all had a great and blessed birthday holiday for our Lord and Savior Jesus, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 44. In this Scripture we see Joseph first a slave to the Pharaoh. Now in charge of all the Pharaoh has, dealing with the brothers that sold him into slavery. He talked to his brothers through an interpreter so their was no reason for his brothers to recognize him. Joseph was falsely represented to his brothers. He accused his youngest brother of returning his kindness with thievery. In fact he set him up ; ” 1 Then he commanded the steward of his house, “Fill the men’s sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put each man’s money in the mouth of his sack, 2and put my cup, the silver cup, in the mouth of the sack of the youngest, with his money for the grain.”’” Genesis 44:1 English Standard Version (ESV). So we see Joseph gave into the flesh and sinned against his father and God. It doesn’t seem possible after the love and grace of our God were so richly blessed on his life. God understood what was happening; “8 And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.” Genesis 8:21 ESV. Remember God sent Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners.

he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said, “Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.Luke 2:28-32 ESV. Feast The Christmas Edition

The Christmas Edition

Dec 23-25, 2011 – Genesis 41-43

Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 41 – 43. In this Scripture we see Joseph dealing with his brothers. I couldn’t stop reading though I have heard the story many times in my life,. I read it all the way until Joseph’s father came to Egypt! The one the brother’s rejected saved them all!

There was another rejected by all who loves and saves us. The Christmas story starts with his birth. “8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.“ Luke 2:8-11 (21st Century King James Version)

Let’s Keep Christ foremost in our Christmas!

Our God full of grace sees us covered with the blood of the Lamb, our names are in the book of life! I get so excited. Thank anyone living in the world not saved celebrating Jesus Birthday. If they ask what the big desal is say ; “He was born the gift of God so we who have accepted him as their saviour has our name written in the Book of Life!” That may just be the push they need to find salvation.

This is the season. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!Luke 2:11-14 ESV

I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. Keep witnessing and If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again Monday.

The Feast Daily Edition

Dec 22, 2011 – Genesis 40

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 40. In this Scripture we see Joseph a slave to the Pharaoh. He is in prison because he did the rihgt thing. Even in prison he went on his relationship with God was visible. He was given favor because the prison keeper could see Joseph was falsely accused. Joseph didn’t Just sit around feeling sorry for himself. He carried on using his God given gift even though his day wasn’t exactly perfect.; ”6 When Joseph came to them in the morning, he saw that they were troubled. 7 So he asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in custody in his master’s house, ‘Why are your faces downcast today?”’” Genesis 40:6 English Standard Version (ESV). So Joseph in jail, as they were, continued his ministry? He ministered to the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt,. Like I said yesterday, whatever circumstance you find yourself let your light shine! Keep on fighting the good fight, tell them about the Loving grace of our God and Savior Jesus! “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”Ephesians 6:12 ESV. Remember they see something in your life but they are waiting for you to share it with them.

This is the season, keep Christ in Christmas. [The Shepherds and the Angels] And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.Luke 2:8-11 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

If some one asks what it is that keeps you going? Tell them you accepted God’s free gift, Tell them if they want to experience God’s love. Say; “You need to accept Jesus into your heart.” Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Dec 21, 2011 – Genesis 39

The Feast Morning Edition

Dec 21, 2011 – Genesis 39

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 39. In this Scripture we see Joseph a slave to the Pharaoh. Immediately the master saw some thing in Joseph that he wanted, for his kingdom. Everywhere he whent his relationship with God was visable; ”23The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph’s charge, because the LORD was with him. And whatever he did, the LORD made it succeed.’” Genesis 34:23 English Standard Version (ESV). So why is Joseph in jail? Satan will attack a successful servant of the Lord, as seen in Joseph’s life. God is not willing that any should parish, so he used this incident to witness to the Jailer. In conclusion whatever circumstance you find yourself let your light shine! When they ask you what your in, tell them about the Loving grace of our God and Savior Jesus! “14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,” 1 Peter 3:14-15 ESV. Remember they see something in your life but they are waiting for you to share it with them.

This is the season, keep Christ in Christmas. “And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.” Luke 2:6-7 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

It really is not about religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.

Dec 20, 2011 – Genesis 38

The Feast Late Edition

Dec 20, 2011 – Genesis 38

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 38. In this Scripture we see Judah making a quick Judgement; ”24About three months later Judah was told, “Tamar your daughter-in-law has been immoral. Moreover, she is pregnant by immorality.’ And Judah said, “Bring her out, and let her be burned.’” Genesis 33:1-3 English Standard Version (ESV). This brings me back to Issue Number One, Salvation Don’t pronounce judgement on someone you see as a “BAD” sinner. We know they will have an eternal time cut off from God and the Church without salvation. God is not willing that any should parish. Instead maybe you should tell them about the Loving grace of our God and Savior Jesus! “

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all shouldreach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 ESV. They see something in your life but they are waiting for you to share it with them.

This is the season, keep Christ in Christmas. “[The Birth of Jesus Christ] In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.Luke 2:1, 4-5 ESV I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Maybe your wondering what it is that keeps the Feast going? Accept God’s free gift, invite Jesus into your heart. Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness.

THE FEAST

Tue, Dec 20, 2011 – Genesis 38, “The profligate conduct of Judah and his family. – This chapter gives an account of Judah and his family, and such an account it is, that it seems a wonder that of all Jacob’s sons, our Lord should spring out of Judah, ( Hebrews 7:14 ) . But God will show that his choice is of grace and not of merit, and that Christ came into the world to save sinners, even the chief. Also, that the worthiness of Christ is of himself, and not from his ancestors. How little reason had the Jews, who were so called from this Judah, to boast as they did, ( John 8:41 ) . What awful examples the Lord proclaims in his punishments, of his utter displeasure at sin! Let us seek grace from God to avoid every appearance of sin. And let that state of humbleness to which Jesus submitted, when he came to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself, in appointing such characters as those here recorded, to be his ancestors, endear the Redeemer to our hearts– Matthew Henry Concise

Genesis 37

The Feast Daily Edition

Dec 19, 2011 – Genesis 37

Dear Saints,

I pray you all had a blessed weekend. Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 37. In this Scripture we see jealousies at work again. Immediately I thought of the sons of Adam, Cain and Abel. Again we see sibling rivalry at it’s very worst;”23So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe, the robe of many colors that he wore. 24And they took him and threw him into a pit. The pit was empty; there was no water in it.” Genesis 37:23-24 English Standard Version (ESV). Joseph the young dreamer held no malice toward his brothers. They on the other hand were willing to kill him in their fit of jealously. We do know our awesome God has the power to overcome sin, It is true that God works for the benefit of every Saint that is working for his will. I’m sure as this was going on Joseph was scared, depressed and greatly saddened. He probably couldn’t think of any good that might come out of this situation. If you or someone you know is saddened or depressed now is the time to think on God’s plan for our lives. Just when it seems that there is no light at the end of the tunnel we find God’s promise for the Saints; “28And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 ESV. Our God full of grace has plans for us that we can’t even imagine. So if you or someone you know seem depressed, harassed or down this holiday season. Now is the time to share God’s promises and bring them to mind. It really could lead to salvation for another lost soul or comfort for a saint.

This is the season. “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on highLuke 1:76-78 ESV

Well that’s it for today. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. Keep witnessing and If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Share some hope and joy with those who are not sure what their future holds. If they want the joy of the Lord in their life share Jesus and this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now tell your friend if you want to go to church with them. After he killed his brother Abel, God asked Cain what had happened. Cain replied with an attempt to evade responsibility for what had happened, asking if he were his ‘brother’s keeper.'” – Brother’s keeper – a Christian perspective
