25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe. Proverbs 29:25 New King James Version (NKJV).

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis ; Chapter 26; “Isaac, because of famine, goes to Gerar. (1-5) He denies his wife and is reproved by Abimelech. (6-11) Isaac grows rich, The Philistines’ envy. (12-17) Isaac digs wells God blesses him. (18-25) Abimelech makes a covenant with Isaac. (26-33) Esau’s wives. (34,35) “ Matthew Henry Concise

We continue our Feast in Genesis 26. Today’s Feast sounds familiar; “6 So Isaac settled in Gerar. 7 When the men of the place asked him about his wife, he said, “She is my sister,” for he feared to say, “My wife,” thinking, “lest the men of the place should kill me because of Rebekah,” because she was attractive in appearance.Genesis 26:6-7 NKJV. Now is my memory (more than normal) failing me? Didn’t Isaac’s father tell the same little “white lie”? Was this a common lie in these times; “2And Abraham said of Sarah his wife,”She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah.Genesis 20:2. I don’t think so I think sin is common for man. How serious is a little white lie? Look at it this way it separates man from God and his love. So how does God feel about a sin that little white lie; ”16 These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies,And one who sows discord among brethren.Proverbs 6:16-19 NKJV. There is no little “white lie” it is all sin and God will not abide with sin. There are no short cuts to God, the path is truly narrow.Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.John 14:6 ESV

Can you hear him? Jesus is calling, accept Jesus into your heart? If you hear him calling it’s not too late. Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart, turning from sin, and you need fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints for whom Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin. Our only action is to repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. Know this if you sinned the sin that can’t be forgiven, you won’t hear Jesus calling. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mike@admenu.com. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 25; “Abraham’s family by Keturah, His death and burial. (1-10) God blesses Isaac The descendants of Ishmael. (11-18) The birth of Esau and Jacob. (19-26) The different characters of Esau and Jacob. (27,28) Esau despises and sells his birth-right. (29-34) Matthew Henry Concise

Today’s Feast is a perfect picture of how man can through away their blessings from God; 29 Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. 30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom.

31 But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.”

32 And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”

33 Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.”

So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. 34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. Genesis 25:29–34 NKJV.We see Esau walking away sure that he traded what was his for something (Bread and Soup) he thought more important at the time. Beside surely his father would know he was tricked and would not withhold his blessing. Sometimes even Christians feel like it is only words when they sin. I tell you Christian Saints every sin is another lash on our Lord and Master Jesus. No matter how your feeling you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and when you sin your grieving God. We need to learn how to control the most unruly part of the body, our tongue. “but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,” John 11:25 ESV

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of 1 John Chapter 4; “Believers cautioned against giving heed to every one that pretends to the Spirit. (1-6) Brotherly love enforced. (7-21) Matthew Henry Concise

Because there are many false prophets (see 1 John 4:1-6) those who know God will be with us.  We love one another, we accept each other in God’s name, (see 1 John 4:7-13) Jesus has redeemed us, and sent His Holy Spirit to dwell in us; “12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.1 john 3:24 NKJV.  If any man says he is a Christian and doesn’t love his brother (see 1 John 4:20) he is a liar and not from God.  2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 NKJV.  It’s time for every saint to examine their heart (see 1 John 4:21) do we love our brothers, sisters and neighbors.  We have received a new commandment to love one another (see John 13:34-35) that is how the world will recognize us as ambassadors for Jesus.  Let the world see the love of God shining brilliantly through us.

Do you want to trust God? If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you are!   Do you hear Jesus calling you?  Will you answer Him today? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Lamentations Chapter 3; “The faithful lament their calamities, and hope in God’s mercies.Matthew Henry Concise.

What he prophet is talking about (see Lamentations 3:1-20) is strength and hope from the Lord never quits.  Suffering and temptation from God, (see Lamentations 3:21-36) will bring discipline and joy to (all believers) the saints.   Whatever we have to complain of (see Lamentations 3:37-41) should be said to God, and not about God.  No matter what sin we have committed Gods Word (see Lamentations 3:42-54) assures us that our only hope is in God.  By God’s Word we know that (see John 3:16) Jesus will save all who believe in Him. Salvation through Jesus is everlasting; just as (see Lamentations 3:55-66 ) death is eternal for all who elect to live in sin. “65 You will give them dullness of heart; your curse will be on them.  66 You will pursue them in anger and destroy them from under your heavens, O Lord.Lamentations 3:65-66 English Standard Version (ESV).   If any person lacks faith they should (see Romans 10:17) pray and seek God’s will in His Holy Word.  The Word of God teaches us that we are saved by faith in Jesus (see Ephesians 2:8-9) and not by any other person or ourselves.  4 But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4 ESV.  It is no what we eat that condemns and hurts us (see Matthew 15:11) it’s what comes out of our heart through our mouth.  As long as we are still living our hope remains (see Romans 5:2) through Jesus

Dear Saints,

Praise God Jesus has risen!  Today we prayerfully celebrate Easter and continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 53.   He was bruised for our transgressions Jesus has overcame death; (see Matthew 28:5-7) He arose!  11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied;
by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant,
    make many to be accounted righteous,
    and he shall bear their iniquities
.
12
Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many.
    and he shall divide the spoil with the strong,
because he poured out his soul to death
    and was numbered with the transgressors;
yet he bore the sin of many,
    and makes intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:11-12  English Standard Versions (ESV.  Jesus our Lord has paid the price and overcame death. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 15:55-57 ESV.  Jesus is our righteousness; we are victorious through our faith (see 1 John 5:4) in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 52.   It’s all about (see Isaiah 52:9) Jesus!  14 As many were astonished at you— his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind— 15 so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand. Isaiah 52:14-15  English Standard Versions (ESV).  He was pierced for our transgressions!  Jesus our Lord despised (see Mark 9:12) he suffered on the cross for our disobediences. 39 But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.  Matthew 12:39-41 ESV.  Jesus paid the full price for our (see Romans 5:8) transgressions.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 51.   The Messiah Christ is promised (see Isaiah 52:9) a precious gift from God the Father.  The Word of God will be published (see Isaiah 2:3) and preached for salvation.  Christ paid for the sin all people who call on His name are redeemed with his blood and (see Luke 1:51) delivered from every enemy. All God’s enemies they could gain by violence was, forcing people into hypocritical conformity; 22 Thus says your Lord, the Lord, your God who pleads the cause of his people: “Behold, I have taken from your hand the cup of staggering;
the bowl of my wrath you shall drink no more; 23 and I will put it into the hand of your tormentors,  who have said to you,  ‘Bow down, that we may pass over’; and you have made your back like the ground
and like the street for them to pass over.”
Isaiah 49:25-26  English Standard Versions (ESV).  Today people still deny Jesus is Lord much as they did on (see 1 Corinthians 1:18) Good Friday. [Christ the Wisdom and Power of God] For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 ESV.  Remember the person who speaks against Jesus can still be forgiven those who never turn to Jesus will die in their sin;  3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus is accursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lordexcept in the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3 ESV.
