Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 17; “A parable relative to the Jewish nation. (1-10) to which an explanation is added. (11-21) A direct promise of the Messiah. (22-24)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

Conquerors are often depicted as eagles as it is in this parable; (see Ezekiel 17:1-10) God uses their destructive actions to serve His purpose.  Zedekiah sinned by being ungrateful to God (see Ezekiel 17:11-21) so Israel met up with God’s righteous Judgment.  God’s parable is explained to the Israelites (see Ezekiel 17:22-24) by the Lord’s Prophet Ezekiel;  24 And all the trees of the field shall know that I am the LORD; I bring low the high tree, and make high the low tree, dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree flourish. I am the LORD; I have spoken, and I will do it.”Ezekiel 17:24 English Standard Version (ESV).  You and I walked in the darkness of the world (see Ephesians 5:8) until we accepted God’s gift of salvation; “12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13 ESV. Ask yourselves; how do I glorify the Lord Jesus (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) am I truly His ambassador?   How would Jesus frame the parable (see Matthew 13:29-39) about my life, how would it be explained?

Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to know Jesus and his plan for your life?   Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 16; “A parable showing the first low estate of the Jewish nation, its prosperity, idolatries, and punishment“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

God’s Word came to Ezekiel; concerning the people of Jerusalem of their disgusting sins (see Ezekiel 16:1-58) and tell them that I, the Lord God, am speaking!  God warned Jerusalem of judgments, and His mercy is reserved to keep them (see Ezekiel 16:59-63), through faith in God. The Lord makes a promise to Jerusalem; “62 I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall know that I am the LORD, 63 that you may remember and be confounded, and never open your mouth again because of your shame, when I atone for you for all that you have done, declares the Lord GOD.” Ezekiel 16:62-63 English Standard Version (ESV).  God’s Word makes the future clear for (see 2 Corinthians 9:13) the person or nation who glorifies our Lord.  By letting your light shine brightly you are giving glory to God through Jesus; “14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 ESV. Use the gifts Jesus has blessed you with (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) tempered with love.  Pay attention Saints; it is up to us to share the love of Jesus; (see Matthew 28:18-20) throughout the world until Jesus returns.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 15;

“Jerusalem like an unfruitful vine.

– If a vine be fruitful, it is valuable. But if not fruitful, it is worthless and useless, it is cast into the fire. Thus man is capable of yielding a precious fruit, in living to God; this is the sole end of his existence; and if he fails in this, he is of no use but to be destroyed. What blindness then attaches to those who live in the total neglect of God and of true religion! This similitude is applied to Jerusalem. Let us beware of an unfruitful profession. Let us come to Christ, and seek to abide in him, and to have his words abide in us.“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

God’s Word came to Ezekiel; concerning Jerusalem no longer producing fruit (see Ezekiel 15) it can only be used as firewood, once the ends are burnt and its middle is charred, it can’t be used for anything.  That nation as a whole no longer glorifies God; “6 I, the Lord God, promise that just as the wood of a grapevine is burned as firewood, 7 I will punish the people of Jerusalem with fire. Some of them have escaped one destruction, but soon they will be completely burned. And when that happens, you, Ezekiel, will know that I am the Lord. 8 I will make their country an empty wasteland, because they have not been loyal to me. I, the Lord God, have spoken. Ezekiel 15:6-8 English Standard Version (ESV).  God’s Word makes the future clear (see Matthew 3:10) for the person or nation who stops glorifying our Lord.  God has given each believer gifts with which to glorify God; “6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:6-8 ESV. Whatever gifts the Holy Spirit has blessed you with (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) use that gift of God tempered with love for God’s glory.  It is not enough to Just know who Jesus is; (see James 2:18-20) each of us must repent, ask Him in and lovingly produce good fruit.

Listen! Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Are you ready to answer His call?   Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 14; “Threatenings against hypocrites. (1-11) God’s purpose to punish the guilty Jews, but a few should be saved. (12-23)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

The Word of God came to Ezekiel; I am the Lord God. Stop worshiping idols and come back to me, (see Ezekiel 14:1-11) stop destroying yourself with sin, and return back to me.  When an entire nation sins against God, its people and livestock will starve to death (see Ezekiel 14:12-23) they will know it is the Lord God who punishes them; “22 But behold, some survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out; behold, when they come out to you, and you see their ways and their deeds, you will be consoled for the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, for all that I have brought upon it.  23 They will console you, when you see their ways and their deeds, and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, declares the Lord GOD.”Ezekiel 13:22-23 English Standard Version (ESV).  God’s Word tells us there is no reason that a whole nation will be punished (see 2 chronicles 7:14) if the people turn to God in prayer and deed that nation can be healed.  No matter what the world does we must push forward honoring Jesus; “14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14 ESV. Each person is responsible to accept or reject (see John 3:16) the loving gift of God for themselves.  We can’t be double minded (see James 1:6-8) each of us must make and stand with our own choice.  Decide today while there is still time to put off the sins of idolatry (see Hebrews 3:7-11) so that you may enter into God’s rest!

Is Jesus is calling you?  Are you ready to choose to God’s love today so you can enter in to His rest?   Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 13; “Heavy judgments against lying prophets. (1-9) The insufficiency of their work. (10-16) Woes against false prophetesses. (17-23)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

The Word of God came to Ezekiel saying; Condemn the false prophets who say they speak in my name (see Ezekiel 13:1-9) I will punish those lying prophets.  False prophets will go to great lengths to sound good (see Ezekiel 13:10-16) they will fail like a well painted car with no coolant a long steep grade. Condemn women who use magic charms and preach messages that come from their own imagination; (see Ezekiel 13:17-23) they lie to good people and encourage them to do wrong; “22 Because you have disheartened the righteous falsely, although I have not grieved him, and you have encouraged the wicked, that he should not turn from his evil way to save his life, 23 therefore you shall no more see false visions nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand. And you shall know that I am the LORD.”Ezekiel 13:22-23 English Standard Version (ESV).  Gods Word tells us to test the prophets (see Deuteronomy 18:22) if what they prophesy is wrong (even one time) they can’t be our God’s Prophet. “[ Jesus, Founder and Perfecter of Our Faith ] Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1 ESV. Once more I would ask each of you join us in the harvest field (see James 2:14) sharing Gods love as we continue to follow Jesus.  Don’t be carried away by everyone (see 2 Corinthians 11:13-15) who claims to have a new message from God.  Pray and study God’s Word; so you won’t be carried away or persuaded (see Galatians 1:6-9) by a new, strange or different Gospel.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 12; “The approaching captivity. (1-16) An emblem of the consternation of the Jews. (17-20) Answers to the objections of scoffers. (21-28)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

The Word of God came to Ezekiel and he prophesized the coming destruction (see Ezekiel 12:1-16) however; God let’s a few escape from the sword, from famine and pestilence.  Ezekiel and the Israelites tremble with fear because of their sin (see Ezekiel 12:17-20) they shall know the Lord is God. When the Jewish nation heard the words of God spoken by Ezekiel they should have repented; instead (see Ezekiel 12:21-28) they hardened their hearts; “28 Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord GOD.”Ezekiel 12:28 English Standard Version (ESV).  Look around you Saints at the world; hold the news stories up to the word of God, it is speaking to you; (see Psalm 1:1) observe the way of the righteous and the wicked and avoid all wickedness and sin.  Keep your faith in Jesus; 1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 ESV. Please join us in the harvest field (see James 2:14) sharing Gods love as we continue to follow Jesus.  Don’t wait for our activity to be carried out!

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 11; “Divine judgments against the wicked at Jerusalem. (1-13) Divine favour towards those in captivity. (14-21) The Divine presence forsakes the city. (22-25)“ – Matthew Henry Concise.

The Holy Spirit filled Ezekiel and he prophesized against the wicked leaders in Jerusalem (see Ezekiel 11:1-13) saying; God knows what you wicked leaders are saying, He will bring judgment against you.  Its true God, has forced you out of Israel and He will be with you in exile (see Ezekiel 11:14-21), He’ll take your stubbornness away and make you eager to serve the Lord your God. When God returns to Israel you will destroy all the idols. From the Mount of Olives the vision departed from the city and temple, (see Ezekiel 11:22-25) typifying the ascension of Christ to heaven from that very mountain.  24 And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the exiles. Then the vision that I had seen went up from me.25 And I told the exiles all the things that the LORD had shown me.Ezekiel 11:24-25 English Standard Version (ESV).  God is speaking to you from His Holy Word (see Proverbs 4:14-15) avoid all wickedness and sin.  Make Jesus your moral compass; 60 I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments.  Psalm Psalm 119:60 ESV. Remember although we are living in the world (see Psalm 119:115) we are to avoid walking after wicked leaders and we should continue to follow Jesus.
