What Is The Answer?
June 30, 2013 – Job 9
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 9. Job realizes our God is just and that he cannot struggle with God. Also men shouldn’t be judged by their looks. Job grumbles about his troubles. “32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him,
that we should come to trial together.
33 There is no arbiter between us,
who might lay his hand on us both.” Job 9:32-33 English Standard Version (ESV). You’ll notice that Job never denounces God or God’s sovereignty. Job would gladly accept healing from God. “Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days.” James 5:3 ESV. Job knew that money wasn’t the answer. He had money before the devil attacked him and he prayed earnestly for God to protect and forgive his children every day. Jesus is the answer for anything we may need.
