5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” John 8:5 New King James Version (NKJV).

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 38; “The profligate conduct of Judah and his family.

– This chapter gives an account of Judah and his family, and such an account it is, that it seems a wonder that of all Jacob’s sons, our Lord should spring out of Judah, (Hebrews 7:14) . But God will show that his choice is of grace and not of merit, and that Christ came into the world to save sinners, even the chief. Also, that the worthiness of Christ is of himself, and not from his ancestors. How little reason had the Jews, who were so called from this Judah, to boast as they did, (John 8:41) . What awful examples the Lord proclaims in his punishments, of his utter displeasure at sin! Let us seek grace from God to avoid every appearance of sin. And let that state of humbleness to which Jesus submitted, when he came to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself, in appointing such characters as those here recorded, to be his ancestors, endear the Redeemer to our hearts Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis 38, now we see that Judah is making a quick Judgment; ”24 And it came to pass, about three months after, that Judah was told, saying, “Tamar your daughter-in-law has played the harlot; furthermore she is with child by harlotry.” So Judah said, “Bring her out and let her be burned!Genesis 38:24 NKJV. This brings me back to Issue Number One, Salvation! Don’t pronounce judgment on someone you see as a “BAD” sinner. We know they will have an eternal time cut off from God and the Church without salvation. Instead maybe you should tell them about the Loving grace of our God and Savior Jesus! Our God is not willing that any should parish. “9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.2 Peter 3:9 NKJV. They see something (see Matthew 5:13-16) in your life; they are waiting for you to share it with them. Are you the judge or the witness?

Do you hear Jesus calling to you? Are you ready to trust God? If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute. He wants you to come just as you are! Will you answer Him today? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm

9 “And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him Acts 7:9 New King James Version (NKJV).

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 37; “Joseph is loved of Jacob, but hated by his brethren. (1-4) Joseph’s dreams. (5-11) Jacob sends Joseph to visit his brethren, They conspire his death. (12-22) Joseph’s brethren sell him. (23-10)Jacob deceived, Joseph sold to Potiphar. (31-36) Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis 37, we see jealousies at work again. Immediately I thought of the sons of Adam, Cain and Abel. Again we see sibling rivalry at it’s very worst; ”23 So it came to pass, when Joseph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the tunic of many colors that was on him. 24 Then they took him and cast him into a pit. And the pit was empty; there was no water in it.Genesis 37:23-24 NKJV.  Joseph the young dreamer held no malice toward his brothers. They on the other hand were willing to kill him in their fit of jealously. We do know our awesome God has the power to overcome sin, It is true that God works for the benefit of every Saint that is working for his will. I’m sure as this was going on Joseph was scared, depressed and greatly saddened. He probably couldn’t think of any good that might come out of this situation. If you or someone you know is saddened or depressed now is the time to think on God’s plan for our lives. Just when it seems that there is no light at the end of the tunnel we find God’s promise for the Saints; “28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.Romans 8:28 NKJV. Our God full of grace has plans for us that we can’t even imagine. So if you or someone you know seem depressed, harassed or down, share (see John 3:16) some hope and joy with them. For those who are not sure what their future holds, share (see John 14:6) Jesus with them. Now is the time to share God’s promises and (see Matthew 9:37) bring them to mind. It really could lead to salvation for another lost soul or (see Romans 15:5) comfort for a saint.

Share Jesus; 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love,  Ephesians 4:2 NKJV.

Would you like to sleep like a child again? Can you hear Jesus calling to you today? Are you ready to answer God’s call? If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute. He wants you to come just as you are, surrendering all! Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 36;Esau and his descendants Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis 36, we see the faithfulness of God in fulfilling his promise to Abraham concerning his son Esau; God wants to remind us that he knows each and everyone of us. God knows who everyone is, where they came from and where they are going, look at this verse; “40 And these were the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families and their places, by their names: Chief Timnah, Chief Alvah, Chief Jetheth, 41 Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon, 42 Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar, 43 Chief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom, according to their dwelling places in the land of their possession. Esau was the father of the Edomites.Genesis 36:40-43 NKJV. Our God full of grace fulfilled His promise to Abraham concerning his son Esau. Our God loves us and sees us covered with the blood of the Lamb, we thank Jesus our names are in the book of life! 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16 NKJV. Jesus our friend and savior promised us that we can bear up under the burdens He gives us; “28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29. So NO worries about what men can do to you! “28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Matthew 10:28 God knows where you came from!

Will you answer Him today? they gave Jacob all the foreign gods, as well as the rings in
their ears, and Jacob buried them.

Because
Jacob was obedient, (

God appeared to Jacob again and blessed him and changed his name
to Israel. Because Jacob (Israel) believed God, God gave him
twelve sons;
23
The sons of Leah were Reuben, Jacob’s oldest son, and Simeon,
Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun. 24 The sons of Rachel were
Joseph and Benjamin. 25 The sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s servant,
were Dan and Naphtali. 26 The sons of Zilpah, Leah’s servant,
were Gad and Asher. These were Jacob’s sons born to him in
Paddan-aram.

Obedience
brings
me back to Issue Number One, Salvation through the blood of the
Lamb.
Our
salvation came with a calling a mission if you will;
18
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has
been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make
disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to
observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with
you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthew
28:18-20

NKJV.
In
obedience we share God’s gift
to
us through the son of God

Jesus; (
see
John
3:16
)
which
is
forgiveness
to people lost in sin.
If
we are obedient we will worship Jesus in spirit;
10
God
is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and
truth.”

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:12-13 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 34; Dinah defiled by Shechem. (1-19) The ShecheChapter 34mites murdered by Simeon and Levi. (20-31) Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis 34, we see Jacob’s daughter being shamed and raped. Immediately I thought of a woman currently living somewhere in the far east, where the people worship a strange god.;”2 And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her and lay with her, and violated her.Genesis 34:2 ESV. It was a sory I heard on the news, the exact same thing I thought. You might be very surprised at how they handled it over there. They put the young girl in prison for adultery. I understand she was lucky her and the baby were not executed. I thought surely this is not the story to share with the saints so I prayed went on to read God’s Word. Then I saw it God wants to remind us that he knows each and everyone of us, even down to the hairs on our head. “7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.Luke 12:7 NKJV. No believer should be scared, (see Luke 12:4) lonely or depressed or upset at the world. So Don’t Fear Men, or worry about what men can do to you! “28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Matthew 10:28

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 33; “The friendly meeting of Jacob and Esau. (1-16) Jacob comes to Succoth and Shalem, He builds an altar. (17-20) Matthew Henry Concise

Feasting in Genesis Chapter 33; In this Scripture we see Israel (Jacob) headed back to be with his family, particularly his brother Esau. He was not Sure how his brother would accept him; ”1 Now Jacob lifted his eyes and looked, and there, Esau was coming, and with him were four hundred men. So he divided the children among Leah, Rachel, and the two maidservants. 2 And he put the maidservants and their children in front, Leah and her children behind, and Rachel and Joseph last. 3 Then he crossed over before them and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.Genesis 33:1-3 NKJV. This brings me back to Issue Number One, Salvation through the blood of the Lamb. Sometimes we have trouble approaching people about salvation. We know they will have an eternal time cut off from God and the Church without salvation. Start off easy just invite your friends or acquaintances to church this week. You might be very surprised at their reaction.4 But Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.Genesis 33:4 NKJV. They see something in your life but they are waiting for you to share it with them.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.James 4:10 NKJV

Would you like to sleep like a child again? Can you hear Jesus calling to you today? Are you ready to answer God’s call? If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation! Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 32; “Jacob’s vision at Mahanaim, His fear of Esau. (1-8) Jacob’s earnest prayer for deliverance, He prepares a present for Esau. (9-23) He wrestles with the Angel. (24-32) Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis 32, we see Jacob headed back to be with his family. He was not faint of heart, we see how he dealt with Laban and now God; “28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”Genesis 32:28 NKJV. God blessed Jacob and changed his name to Israel. What’s in a name? Israel means He strives with God, or God strives. This brings me back to Issue Number One, Salvation through the blood of the Lamb. Until we repent and accept Jesus as our savior, we are striving with God. When we turn from sin and accept Jesus our name is recorded in the book of life. “5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.Revelation 3:5 NKJV

Do you want Jesus to be your friend? Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mike@admenu.com or if you want more information (Click Here)
