June_29- July 1_2012 Deu 34_Luke_1-2

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 34. This is the end of the struggle for Moses. I’m always saying the we each need a personal relationship with God. As we finish the book of Deuteronomy, we see the end of Moses’ earthly relationship with God and then he begins his eternal life. All of this because he had a personal relationship with God. “9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. So the people of Israel obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses. 10 And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, 11 none like him for all the signs and the wonders that the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land, 12 and for all the mighty power and all the great deeds of terror that Moses did in the sight of all Israel. Deuteronomy 34:9-12, English Standard Version (ESV). OK God called Moses, Moses, finally (after 40 years) answers God. Then he spends 40 years in an earthly relationship with God. That’s great but God called Moses and beside that’s Old Testament what about us today? Let me show you; “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

Revelation 3:19-21 ESV. God sent His only begotten son to pay for our transgressions were paid in full by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. That is why the promise is to all who accept God’s gift Jesus and are sealed by the Holy Spirit. “The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” Psalm 138:8 ESV ESV. Let’s continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.

For Saturday and Sunday we will prayerfully Feast in the book of Luke in the New Testament.

Luke an overview:

This evangelist is generally supposed to have been a physician, and a companion of the apostle Paul. The style of his writings, and his acquaintance with the Jewish rites and usages, sufficiently show that he was a Jew, while his knowledge of the Greek language and his name, speak his Gentile origin. He is first mentioned (acts 16:10 acts 16:11) , as with Paul at Troas, whence he attended him to Jerusalem, and was with him in his voyage, and in his imprisonment at Rome. This Gospel appears to be designed to supersede many defective and unauthentic narratives in circulation, and to give a genuine and inspired account of the life, miracles, and doctrines of our Lord, learned from those who heard and witnessed his discourses and miracles.” Matthew Henry’s Concise

I am not a Theologian. So if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. Do you have a personal relationship with God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? If you want to be sure, turn your back on sin and just say this prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com or if you want a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com

Then and Now. Deuteronomy 33

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Deu 33

l The Feast l

June_28_2012 Deu 33

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 33. This is Moses’ swan song, his farewell to God’s people. As he prepares to leave he tells about the greatness of God. “1 This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death. 2 He said,

The Lord came from Sinai
and dawned from Seir upon us;
he shone forth from Mount Paran;
he came from the ten thousands of holy ones,
with flaming fire at his right hand.
3 Yes, he loved his people,
all his holy ones were in his hand;
also they followed in your
steps,
receiving direction from you,
4 when Moses commanded us a law,
as a possession for the assembly of Jacob.
Deuteronomy 33:1-4, English Standard Version (ESV). Wow, brother Mike, that’s great God loved his chosen ones! That’s great but that’s Old Testament what about us today? “17 This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. 18 For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.

19 Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made, and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary. 20 Now an intermediary implies more than one, but God is one.” Galatians 3:17-20. God made the promise to Abraham therefore to us. Our transgressions were paid in full by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. That is why the promise is to all who accept God’s gift Jesus and are sealed by the Holy Spirit. “For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” Matthew 16:25 ESV. Let’s continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. I am not a Theologian. So if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.

Our God! Deuteronomy 32

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Deu 32

l The Feast l

June_27_2012 Deu 32

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 32. This is Moses’ swan song, his farewell to God’s people. As he prepares to leave he tells about the greatness of God. “3 For I will proclaim the name of the Lord;

ascribe greatness to our God!

4 “The Rock, his work is perfect,

for all his ways are justice.

A God of faithfulness and without iniquity,

just and upright is he.” Deuteronomy 32:3-4, English Standard Version (ESV). What attributes do we ascribe to our Lord? Has God changed in any way? Our God is awesome and great, we praise Him. “ 3 And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,

Great and amazing are your deeds,

O Lord God the Almighty!

Just and true are your ways,

O King of the nations!

4 Who will not fear, O Lord,

and glorify your name?

For you alone are holy.

All nations will come

and worship you,

for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

Revelation 15:3-4 ESV. We are thankful for our salvation, His love and all He has done for us. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” Matthew 16:25 ESV. Let’s continue to keep the first thing first. He Does! (repaired sat aug 8, 2015)

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Deu 31
l The Feast l

June_26_2012 Deu 31

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 31. This is an interesting chapter in that God speaks of His people turning from Him. I however prefer to dwell on a promise found in this chapter. “7 Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it. 8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”” Deuteronomy 31:7-8, English Standard Version (ESV). Here we see God giving his Word to Joshua and His people. What about us what does God promise us in the New Testament. “17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me.Because I live, you also will live.” John 14:17-19 ESV. Here it is again, God is awesome he never changes. He promises he will never leave us. He says that we live because He lives. Let me say this saints, it doesn’t get better than this! “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:18 ESV. It looks like God wants us to learn from his Word. This schedule is taken from a study bible.

What you want! Deuteronomy 30:

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Deu 30

l The Feast l

June_25_2012 Deu 30

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 30. Did you prayerfully read this chapter saint? Did you notice the importance of the closing verse? “20 loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”” Deuteronomy 30:20, English Standard Version (ESV). Hear this saint, God Word still makes provision for you personally. What you ask of Him is that which God will give you. “22 But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you.”23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” 27 She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”” John 11:22–27 ESV. God is awesome he never changes. If your not getting what your asking for, examine your request. Be sure what you are asking for is in God’s will. “Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the LORD.Jeremiah 23:24 ESV. This schedule is taken from a study bible. I am not a Theologian. The Stand? Deuteronomy 27-29

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Deu 27-29

l The Feast l

June_22-24_2012 Deu 27-29

Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 27. and Deuteronomy 29. Our God is good and greatly to be praised. Listen Saint, God is talking to those with whom He has entered into a covenant with;“12 so that you may enter into the sworn covenant of the Lord your God, which the Lord your God is making with you today, 13 that he may establish you today as his people, and that he may be your God, as he promised you, and as he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. 14 It is not with you alone that I am making this sworn covenant, 15 but with whoever is standing here with us today before the Lord our God, and with whoever is not here with us today.” Deuteronomy 29:12-15, English Standard Version (ESV). This covenant is not only for those standing with the Lord our God that day. He also includes whoever stands with with God after that day. I know this is Old Testament scripture. I also know it is confirmed again in the New Testament. “39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” Acts 2:39 ESV. Again we can say; “God is awesome he never changes the New Testament agrees with the old.” Feast Deuteronomy 25. We endeavor to keep the first thing first. That being salvation through the blood of the only begotten son of God, Jesus! “but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 ESV. I send the Feast 5 days a week excluding holidays we read a chapter a day sometimes (if short) more the schedule is taken from a study bible. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again Monday.

Do you want to join us standing with God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. June_21_2012 Deu 26

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 26. How is your relationship with Jesus? I believe that each of us must have a personal relationship with our Lord. “16 “This day the Lord your God commands you to do these statutes and rules. You shall therefore be careful to do them with all your heart and with all your soul. 17 You have declared today that the Lord is your God, and that you will walk in his ways, and keep his statutes and his commandments and his rules, and will obey his voice. 18 And the Lord has declared today that you are a people for his treasured possession, as he has promised you, and that you are to keep all his commandments, 19 and that he will set you in praise and in fame and in honor high above all nations that he has made, and that you shall be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.”.” Deuteronomy 26:16-19, English Standard Version (ESV). God has made provision for you personally. What you do about it is up to you. “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16-18 ESV. God is awesome he never changes the New Testament agrees with the old. You Saint, are the whoever that God sent Jesus to redeem. “[My Refuge and My Fortress] He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1ESV This schedule is taken from a study bible.
