Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter10.  We are told to avoid even the appearance of evil (see James 1:26) for the sake of those who may be looking at us as Christ’s ambassadors.  If you expect people to respect you should be respectful to others (see Luke 6:31).  Be sober in all your thoughts and actions.  “20 Do not curse the king, even in your thought; Do not curse the rich, even in your bedroom; For a bird of the air may carry your voice, And a bird in flight may tell the matter.“   Ecclesiastes 10:20 New King James Version (NKJV).   Brothers and Sisters, caution those who are slothful, be encouraging to the timid, lend help to the weak, (see Acts 20:35) be patient with them all; “4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.“  1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NKJV.  By loving God and our neighbor as ourselves we will fulfill all the directives to the wise in Ecclesiastes as we walk in the love of Jesus. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to be loved?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; ” He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. Isaiah 53:3-4 NKJV.

God Bless You,

Brother Mike

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in II Corinthians 9.  Here we see Paul telling the Saints The reason for sending Titus to collect their donations. He reminds the Saints to be cheerful in their contributions.  “8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 9 As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.”” II Corinthians 9:8-9, ESV.  When you give to help those that have need of help we are reminded, that the earth and everything in it belongs to God.  “4 You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine;” Exodus 19:4-5, ESV.  When God requires anything from us He always provides the resources or funds. “5 It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.” Psalm 112:5, ESV. If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 31   King Hezekiah loved God with all his heart and his subjects in turn loved God.  King Hezekiah’s faith and love for God inspired his subjects and they destroyed all the Idols and high places in the kingdom.  “20 Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. 21 And every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God and in accordance with the law and the commandments, seeking his God, he did with all his heart, and prospered.” 2 Chronicles 31:20-21, ESV.  God knows our hearts Saints.  If we demonstrate the kind of faith that lights up our life, those around us will be hungry and yearn for salvation.  “28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”” John 10:28-30, ESV.  Jesus saved us and overcame death for us.  We are free to love God with all our heart.  As we serve God so that our light shines we will draw others to Jesus.  If we possess the love of God ourselves, those around us will draw people to Jesus.  So what’s becoming of us? We will become fishers of men. If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 11.  God forbids Rehoboam to war against his relatives. Rehoboam lived in Jerusalem and fortifies his kingdom. Jeroboam and his sons cast priests of the Lord out because he and his people were serving false gods. The priests and Levites find refuge in Judah. Solomon’s son Rehoboam walked in the way of David and Solomon. “22 And Rehoboam appointed Abijah the son of Maacah as chief prince among his brothers, for he intended to make him king. 23 And he dealt wisely and distributed some of his sons through all the districts of Judah and Benjamin, in all the fortified cities, and he gave them abundant provisions and procured wives for them.2 Chronicles 11:22-23, ESV. Rehoboam was wise in supporting God’s priests.  We need to keep or eyes focused on Jesus.  “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.Hebrews 12:2, ESV.  Our relationship with Jesus will lead to us supporting our church family in many ways.  Look to God and His Word before you place your support behind any cause or person.  If it doesn’t glorify God don’t support it!  If it does glorify God it will line up with his Word.  Hold everything, cause or purpose up to Jesus’ light.  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,
Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter 2; “David made king in Hebron. (1-7) Abner makes Ishbosheth king Battle between Abner’s men and those of Joab. (8-17) Asahel slain by Abner: 25-32. Both parties retreat. (18-24)” –Matthew Henry Concise.

David and all his family go to Hebron where David is made king. The commander of Saul’s Army, Abner makes Ishbosheth king! Battles such as a revolution, breaks out between Abner’s men and those of Joab. Asahel is pierced through the stomach with the butt of his spear by Abner is slain. Both parties retreat.. If Men would consider the result of their actions before they act they might avoid sin. Excluding God from government or any area of our life will cause bitterness in the end! Asahel’s funeral is here mentioned. “32 And they took up Asahel and buried him in the tomb of his father, which was at Bethlehem. And Joab and his men marched all night, and the day broke upon them at Hebron.” 2 Samuel 2:32, ESV. Each of us needed Jesus to make our lives, whole and sin free! Let’s keep God in charge of every area of our lives. Please keep the first thing first that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. “[Submission to the Authorities] Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.” Romans 13:1, ESV.  If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.  Click this link for more information;  admenu.com/calling.htm .

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel  Chapter 25; “Death of Samuel. (1) David’s request; Nabil’s churlish refusal. (2-11) David’s intention to destroy Nabal. (12-17) Abigail takes a present to David. (18-31) He is pacified, Nabal dies. (32-39) David takes Abigail to wife. (39-44)” – Matthew Henry Concise.

Today as we feast in 1st Samuel, we see the Death of Samuel. King David’s request for the feast for his men. Nabal selfishly refuses to feed David’s men. David’s intention was to destroy Nabal and all his men. Abigail prepares a feast and takes it to David and his men. David is reconsiders killing Nabal. God avenges David and Nabal dies. David being impressed by Abigail’s generous acts takes the widowed Abigail as his wife; “42 So Abigail rose in haste and rode on a donkey, attended by five of her maidens; and she followed the messengers of David, and became his wife.” I Samuel 25:42, ESV. God promotes his children and puts the evil persons down. Truly vengeance is God’s; “19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it[a] to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”” Romans 12:19, ESV.  With that in mind offer all persons God’s love in the name of Jesus. Keep the first thing first, salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus.  If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
