May 21, 2014- Jeremiah 15
The Lord Will Not Relent

Chapter 15, “The destruction of the wicked described. (1-9) The prophet laments such messages, and is reproved. (10-14) He supplicates pardon, and is promised protection. (15-21)” – Matthew Henry Concise
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 15. God tells Jerimiah; Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, my mind remains unchanged about (see Jeremiah 15:1-9) these unrepentant people. Though Saints alive or dead pray for people they only gain forgiveness by their own repentant requests (see Acts 4:12) made in the name of Jesus. Though Jeremiah is a man of God; (see Jeremiah 15:10-14) reminding them of God’s covenant they hate him because they love the world. Jeremiah is filled with love for God and God’s people. He is full of concern for their trespasses (see Jeremiah 13:12-17he is unable to bring about their sincere repentance. Jeremiah is assured that the Lord would deliver him from his enemies; “20 And I will make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail over you, for I am with you to save you and deliver you,
