The Feast
Nov 30, 2011 – Genesis 18
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 18 and Genesis 17 . As we read the Feast we see that God chooses to tell Abraham of his plan for Sodom. This inspires the first episode of “Let’s Make a Deal; “ 27Abraham answered and said, “Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, I who am but dust and ashes. 28Suppose five of the fifty righteous are lacking. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?” And he said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”29Again he spoke to him and said, “Suppose forty are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of forty I will not do it.” 30Then he said, “Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak. Suppose thirty are found there.” He answered, “I will not do it, if I find thirty there.” 31He said, “Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord. Suppose twenty are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of twenty I will not destroy it.” 32Then he said, “Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose ten are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.” 33And the LORD went his way, when he had finished speaking to Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.” Genesis 18:27-33 English Standard Version (ESV). You know this screams of Salvation “Issues Number One”. That’s salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ! When we accept Jesus as our Savior his righteousness is what God sees when he looks at us. Because we are covered by the Blood of the Lamb, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. The whole Trinity of God makes our salvation promise a Bond with the Creator. Get ready the Day can be upon you before you can blink an eye.
“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,” 2 Peter 3:10-11 ESV

The Feast
Nov 28-29, 2011 – Genesis 16-17
Dear Saints,
I pray you had a blessed weekend and that the Holy Spirit is leading you everyday and everywhere. Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 16 and Genesis 17 for tomorrow. I must double up because I’m going down below to the doctor tomorrow. As we read the Feast we see that Abram and Sarai, decide to help God out. What is the results of this “HELP.”; Sarai took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, and gave her to Abram, he got her pregnant and now Sarai runs Hagar off because she is having Abrams Child which is going to be a pain to in the side to everyone; “11And the angel of the LORD said to her, “Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has listened to your affliction. 12He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.” Genesis 16:11-12 English Standard Version (ESV). You know people are always trying to help God. Fisherman; “Hey man you need to accept Jesus as your savior!” Fish; “I know it man but I gotta cleanup a few things (helping God) before I do.” I learned something along time ago from a pastor, he said;”Jesus cleans the fish after he catches them.” That’s it The first thing first salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ! Then he’ll clean up those things. Don’t help God out wait on the Lord! So if you don’t know Jesus don’t be the fish. Follow him and he will make you a fisher of men.
“[David’s Song of Thanks] Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!” 1 Chronicles 16:8 ESV

The Feast Genesis 13-15

The Weekend Feast
Nov 25-27, 2011 – Genesis 13-15 Dear Saints, I pray you had a blessed Thanksgiving day and that the Holy Spirit will lead you to Thanksgiving everyday. This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 13-15 a. As we read the Feast we see God made a covenant with Abram ”5nd he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 6And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness.” Genesis 15:5 – 6 English Standard Version (ESV). We are part of that promise and if we accept Jesus as our savior it is counted to us for righteousness! “Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD:though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” Isaiah 1:18 ESV. That’s it The first thing first salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ!
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”Colossians 3:17 ESV

Nov 23-24, 2011 – Genesis 10-12
Dear Saints,
Today (Thanksgiving eve) we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 10 11 and Thanksgiving Day Genesis 12. As we read the Feast we see the whole earth divided;”24Arpachshad fathered Shelah; and Shelah fathered Eber. 25 To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg,[c] for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan. 26Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,” Genesis 10:24 – 26 English Standard Version (ESV) Families begin and prosper. We see a little white lie, how bad is a little lie? “11When he was about to enter Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, ‘I know that you are a woman beautiful in appearance, 12and when the Egyptians see you, they will say, “This is his wife.” Then they will kill me, but they will let you live. 13Say you are my sister, that it may go well with me because of you, and that my life may be spared for your sake.’” Genesis 12:11 – 13 ESV. That’s a really small lie, just don’t tell them we are married say you are my sister. How could a one word lie “sister” cause any problems; “17But the LORD afflicted Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife. 18So Pharaoh called Abram and said, “What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? “ Genesis 12:17-18 ESV. The truth is cancer is still cancer no matter what you call it! God will not abide with sin, Sin is Sin whether murder or “White” lie!

The Daily Feast in God’s Holy Word
Tue Nov 22, 2011 – Genesis 9
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 9. As we read the Feast yesterday we saw God’s covenant with Noah he promises that as long as the Earth survives we will have day and night and the seasons. This means as long as man lives on the earth it will continue to sustain life. Today we see God made a covenant to all of Noah’s descendants! Hey wait one minute, that covenant was for us, that’s you and I; “16When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”17God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.” Genesis 9:16 – 17 English Standard Version (ESV). That’s really great and it shows you that God had plans for us from the start. Remember issue number one; “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.“ John 3:16 ESV. God never did forget about issue one eternal life without sin! The Daily Feast in God’s Holy Word

Dear Saints,
I have high hopes that your weekend was blessed and that you blessed God. Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 8. As we read the Weekend Feast we saw that man’s sin corrupted the world. God brought Noah and his family safely through the flood. Today we see Noah make a Thanksgiving offering to God; “21And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. So in God’s covenant with Noah he promises that as long as the Earth survives we will have day and night and the seasons. This means as long as man lives on the earth it will continue to sustain life. We also learned that mans heart is evil from his youth, which brings us to “Issue Number One” salvation through God’s only son Jesus. For those who accept God’s gift receive life unending without sin; “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.“ John 3:16 ESV. The Weekend Feast in God’s Holy Word

Dear Saints,
This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 5, Genesis 6 and Genesis 7. As we read the Feast we see man’s sin corrupt the world. God’s mercy shortening the time man has to live in a world of sin and the solution for a sinful world; “23He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark. 24And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days.” Genesis 7:23 – 24 English Standard Version (ESV). There is more mercy to this than we understand. When sin abounds a long life in it without God is torture. Remember God created us in their image, which implies we would live life eternal. If our Lord is does not tolerate sin so in his image sin would soon come unbearable. God is not a torturer. So he sacrificed his only begotten Son who lived here in the flesh without sin.
